Gallery & Portfolio
by Celena
Show your work beautifully. Albums with a clean grid or masonry layout, captions, and a fast lightbox — no external libraries, no page-builder required.
What it does
- Albums — as many as you need: portfolio, team, before/after shots, certificates, interiors.
- Two layouts — Grid with equal, smart-cropped tiles, or Masonry keeping the original proportions. 1–6 columns, custom gap; collapses gracefully on phones.
- Bulk upload — up to 30 photos at once; previews and resized variants (thumb / medium / large) are generated automatically by the core image processor, so pages stay fast.
- Lightbox — click opens the photo fullscreen with arrows, keyboard navigation, touch swipe, a counter and captions. Written from scratch, weighs ~2 KB, CSP-friendly.
- Captions & alt texts — per photo, with the alt text feeding image SEO.
- One tag to embed —
{gallery slug="works"}works in page content, news posts and theme templates alike. Several albums on one page? No problem.
Details that matter
- Hide a photo without deleting it; reorder with one click.
- Deleting a photo removes its files from the server — no orphaned uploads.
- Files live in
public/uploads/gallery/and travel with your normal backups. - JPEG, PNG, WebP and GIF up to 15 MB per file.
