Popups & Promo Bars

Add promo popups and a compliant cookie banner to any theme without touching a single template.

  • Five formats — modal window, top or bottom promo bar, corner slide-in and a cookie consent banner with categories.
  • Triggers — after a delay, at a scroll depth, on exit intent (with a timed fallback on touch devices) or on a click matching a CSS selector.
  • Targeting — all pages, home only or URL masks with *, an exclusion list, desktop/mobile, language, new or returning visitors, and a start/end date window.
  • Frequency — every page view, once per visitor, or once every N days.
  • Server-side filtering — page, language and date rules run before rendering, so a popup a visitor must not see never reaches the HTML.
  • GDPR cookie banner — category checkboxes, a consent log with hashed IP and User-Agent, a popups:consent browser event and automatic activation of scripts marked type="text/plain" data-consent="analytics".
  • Statistics — views, clicks and closes per popup, sent with sendBeacon and rate limited; collection can be turned off completely.
  • Editor — tabs for content, targeting, design and statistics, a live colour preview, duplication and one-click enable.
  • Newsletter ready — a subscription form inside the popup when the Newsletter plugin is installed.
  • Accessible — dialog roles, Esc to close, a focus trap, focus restore and no animation under prefers-reduced-motion.

Works on MySQL and PostgreSQL, needs no composer packages, and the markup template can be overridden by your theme.
