Horizon

Horizon is a dark news and tech-media theme: near-black canvas, graphite cards, one amber accent and a red breaking badge. Built for online media, tech blogs and magazines that publish daily.

• Breaking ticker — a seamless marquee of the latest headlines that pauses on hover and degrades to a plain scroller under prefers-reduced-motion.
• Hero slider with big numbers and dates: five lead stories, slide counter 01 / 05, oversized day/month, autoplay progress bar, dots, arrows, swipe and keyboard.
• Top stories grid, two-column feed and a Trends column: most-read with large amber numbers and tiny sparkline charts, most-discussed, rubric tags, newsletter box.
• Rubric sliders for the busiest categories, a sticky header that compacts on scroll, search that unfolds, a mobile drawer.
• Article page with a veiled cover hero, big date, reading progress, share links, a «Read next» slider and AJAX comments.
• Everything is dark — including the customer account, the GDPR banner and the shop pages (catalog, product, cart with working quantity controls, checkout): the theme overrides the core tokens for both light and dark modes and pins itself to dark.
• No external assets. System sans-serif stack, inline SVG sprite, plain CSS/JS motion. Responsive at 1200 / 900 / 620.
