Vertex

Vertex is a storefront theme for shops that sell hardware — phones, laptops, audio, accessories — where the specs, the price and the stock level have to be readable at a glance. A deep navy header carries the search field and the category rail; below it everything is white, sharp-cornered and on a strict grid. One electric blue marks what you can act on, one orange marks what got cheaper.

• A home page that moves. Promo hero slider with autoplay, dots, arrows and swipe; a deals-of-the-day block with a live countdown to midnight; a horizontal category rail; bestsellers grid; a new-arrivals card slider; promo tiles and a newsletter panel. Every slider is CSS scroll-snap plus a few lines of vanilla JS — no carousel library.
• Complete shop coverage. Catalogue with a sticky sorting bar, filter sidebar (categories, price range, attribute facets) that turns into a slide-in panel on mobile, grid/list switch, and a quick-view modal built from the card's own data attributes. Product page with thumbnail gallery, hover zoom, sticky buy panel, variation tiles and description / specifications / reviews / delivery tabs.
• Cart and a stepped checkout. Slide-out mini cart, a cart page with live quantity controls, a three-step progress indicator over the checkout, delivery and payment as radio cards, promo code line and an order summary that recalculates as you choose.
• Customer account in the same language: sign in, register, overview, profile and password, plus the orders, wishlist and addresses screens the shop plugin adds. The heart on every card stores favourites locally and feeds the header counter.
• Motion with manners. Reveal-on-scroll, card lift and photo zoom, buttons that fill from the left and nudge their icon, a header that shrinks when you scroll, a back-to-top button — all disabled under prefers-reduced-motion.
• No external assets. System sans-serif stack, no CDN, no web fonts, monochrome SVG icons in a single inline sprite. Responsive at 1200 / 900 / 620.

Works without the shop plugin too — the product blocks disappear and the rest of the site keeps rendering.
